Hint Cards show the product (and variants like size or color) to someone you care about. When they tap through, they land on the exact item on your storefront so they can buy the gift that was meant for them.
Do I need to know HTML to install it?
No. On Shopify, install from the App Store and place the app block or button where you want it. Unusual themes may need a quick assist from our team.
Can you help with customizations?

Can I customize without writing code?
Yes. Advanced editors let you style the experience to match your brand. There is also a custom CSS area and a drag-and-drop Hint Editor when you want more control.

We use caching for performance. A few hard refreshes clear the browser cache so you see the latest design changes.
The app does not appear in my store. What now?
Confirm the widget is enabled in app settings, clear cache (refresh several times), and make sure your theme supports app blocks.
Where do I edit the Closing / Thank You page?
Shopify Admin → Drop a Hint → Templates, then choose Closing Page from the top-right selector.
Can I customize the CTA button?
Yes — use the built-in CTA or your own button with the ID cta_dropahint.
“You may also like” is missing.
Some themes need a manual integration. Contact support and we can wire it up.
How are orders attributed to the app?
- Cookies on sender and receiver browsers — purchases from either can attribute to the app.
- Name match — first and last name match a hint sender or receiver.
- Email match — sender or receiver email matches the customer (excluding domain rules as documented in-app).
Can I track clicks and impressions?
Yes. Each app includes an analytics dashboard for clicks, impressions, and conversions.
